Our enterprise
Coming from a family of seamstresses, dressmakers and milliners, I created an e-commerce to share my passion for fabric, more specifically "Batik". Following the visit to the exhibition "L'aiguille en Fête" in Paris in 2008, I bought my first batik patchwork kit "Au Fil d'Emma" (the last one that day). The realization of this work was a real revelation. Through this site, I wish you to discover a whole range of fabrics as rich in colors as in designs.
Origin of the name
The name of the site originates from my story and my love for cats. It is in memory of all the cats who have crossed my path, but above all to an exceptional cat "Mimie" who has followed me for almost eleven beautiful years. I will be eternally grateful to him for his love, his gentleness and his loyalty. She had as much pleasure playing with the scraps of fabric as watching me make a quilt.
